Drinking, washing and soaping are a collection of basic actions that one takes in the bath in order to refresh oneself. These actions revitalise our body and mind and help us slowly absorb our day. The inspiration of the objects came from the traditional Japanese wooden buckets called “Oke", an old method that dates back hundreds of years ago. In every home, particularly in the bath area, there used to be wooden buckets for various purposes. This kind of buckets has slowly disappeared from today’s daily life. The newly designed version, made of cypress (“Hinoki” in Japanese), aims to integrate the old tradition with our new modern homes.
